This is a 72V pack. It will not run a 52V controller and it is not an upgrade you drop into an existing 52V build. Read “Is this the right pack for you” below before ordering.

Is this the right pack for you?

72V is a step up in every sense. Worth being clear about it.

You need a 72V controllerFully charged this pack sits at 84V. Connect it to a 52V controller and you will destroy it. If your build is 52V, our 52V packs are the ones you want.
Made for 3000W systemsA 3000W motor draws about 42A at 72V. The 80A BMS passes nearly double, so the pack is never what holds the bike back.
Less current for the same powerHigher voltage means lower amps. A 3000W motor at 72V pulls 42A where the same power at 52V would need 58A — easier on the controller, the connectors and the wiring.
Be honest about the bikeAt 3000W, forks, dropouts and brakes matter more than at 2000W. We would rather talk you through it than sell you a pack that outclasses your frame. Ring 0161 706 1851.

The pack pairs over Bluetooth with a free battery management app on Android or iPhone. This is what you actually get:

Every cell voltageAll 20 groups listed individually, plus the spread between highest and lowest

TemperatureBattery and MOSFET temperatures, live while you ride or charge

Why it matters more on a 72V build. There is more energy in this pack than anything else we sell, and more going on inside it — 20 cell groups rather than 14. Being able to watch the spread between them is worth having.

The app is made by the battery management manufacturer, not by us. It is free, and we will help you set it up if you buy the pack from the workshop.

Charging and looking after it
ChargingUse the 84V charger supplied and nothing else. A 58.8V charger will not charge this pack, and connecting the wrong one is how packs get damaged. Charge on a hard non-flammable surface, never unattended and never overnight.
Watch the cell spreadOpen the app now and then. If the difference between your highest and lowest cell starts creeping up, ring us — caught early that is usually fixable.
StorageIf the bike is going away for a few weeks, leave the pack around half charged rather than full or flat, somewhere dry and cool.
Stop using it ifthe case is swollen, cracked or dented, the pack gets hot, or it behaves oddly. Move it somewhere safe away from anything that can burn and ring us.
Questions we get asked
Will this work on my 52V bike?No. Fully charged it sits at 84V, which will destroy a 52V controller. You need a 72V system throughout. If your build is 52V, our 52V packs are the right ones.
What motor will it run?Up to 3000W. The 80A BMS gives a ceiling of about 5760W at 72V, and a 3000W motor draws roughly 42A — so there is nearly double the headroom it needs.
Why 72V rather than a bigger 52V pack?Higher voltage means less current for the same power, which is easier on the controller, the connectors and the wiring. It is the sensible way to run 3000W.
Do I need the app?No. The pack works normally without ever pairing it. The app is there if you want to look deeper.
Can I post it back if it does not fit?Not through the post. Lithium packs this size are restricted goods and travel by road courier only. Ring 0161 706 1851 and we will arrange collection.
What if something fails?Ring 0161 706 1851 or WhatsApp +44 7493 275057. Twelve months on manufacturing defects — and with this pack you can usually send us a screenshot of the cell voltages, which tells us more than any description could.

Read before you buy — battery safety This is a high capacity 72V lithium battery, 84V fully charged. Charge it on a hard non-flammable surface, never unattended and never overnight, and only with the 84V charger supplied. Do not charge a pack that has been dropped, crushed, or is showing damage or swelling. If it gets hot or behaves oddly, stop, move it somewhere safe away from anything flammable, and contact us straight away.
