Will it fit your frame?
1Cut the shape from cardboard. Mark these dimensions onto card, cut it out, and hold it inside your frame triangle. If it sits in with room to spare, the pack fits. Two minutes, and it saves a return.

2Check the frame size. It fits most 16" and larger hardtail MTB frames — a smaller footprint than our 30Ah packs, which need 18".
3Downhill or oddly shaped frames. Full suspension and unusual frame shapes are the ones that catch people out. Always do the cardboard test rather than going by eye.

Which 52V pack should I pick?

We stock four. They all use the same battery management, so the differences are capacity, size and how hard you can work them.

20Ah down tube — 1040Wh, 5.5 kgLightest and cheapest. Rated 1500W to 2000W, so it suits a 2000W kit ridden normally rather than flat out. Bolts to the bottle bosses.
25Ah triangle — this one, 1300Wh, 8.2 kgRated to 3000W with 1000 cycles. Fits 16 inch frames and up. The sensible middle choice for a 2000W build.
25Ah down tube — 1300WhSame capacity, bolted to the down tube instead. Pick this if your frame triangle is small or already occupied. Charges more slowly.
30Ah triangle — 1560Wh, 8.5 kgMost range. Needs an 18 inch frame. Available as the HS-II, or our own Smart pack with Samsung cells and Bluetooth.
Charging and looking after it
ChargingUse the 5A charger supplied. A full charge from empty takes five to six hours. Charge on a hard non-flammable surface, never unattended and never overnight.
Cold weatherCharge it between 0 and 45 C. Do not charge a pack that has come in frozen from a winter ride — let it warm up to room temperature first.
StorageIf the bike is going away for a few weeks, leave the pack around half charged rather than full or flat, somewhere dry and cool.
Stop using it ifthe case is swollen, cracked or dented, the pack gets hot, or it behaves oddly. Move it somewhere safe away from anything that can burn and ring us.
Questions we get asked
What motor will this run?Rated 1500W to 3000W. On a 2000W kit it has real headroom, which is the main reason to choose it over the 20Ah.
Will it fit my frame?It needs a 16 inch or larger hardtail frame. Cut the outline above from cardboard and try it before ordering — that is the only reliable check.
Does it come with straps?No. This pack mounts on the rack supplied. Our 30Ah Smart pack is the one that uses straps.
How does it compare to the 20Ah?1300Wh against 1040Wh, 1000 cycles against 800, and rated to 3000W rather than 2000W. It is heavier at 8.2 kg and it needs the frame triangle rather than the down tube.
Can I post it back if it does not fit?Not through the post. Lithium packs this size are restricted goods and travel by road courier only. Ring 0161 706 1851 and we will arrange collection.
What if something fails?Ring 0161 706 1851 or WhatsApp +44 7493 275057. Twelve months on manufacturing defects, and because we are a workshop rather than a warehouse we can usually diagnose a fault from a photo instead of making you send it back.

Read before you buy — battery safety This is a high capacity lithium battery. Charge it on a hard non-flammable surface, never unattended and never overnight, and only with the charger supplied. Do not charge a pack that has been dropped, crushed, or is showing damage or swelling. If it gets hot or behaves oddly, stop, move it somewhere safe away from anything flammable, and contact us straight away.
